Texas State Championship cook off sponsored by Lone Star Barbeque Society. $90.00 to enter Cook Off( Brisket, Ribs,& Chicken), other categories include Beans, Steak,& Salsa $10 for each entry. Payouts include 50/50 jackpot for Beans, Salsa, & Steak. Payouts Chicken, Ribs, & Brisket 1st place payout, 2nd Place payout, & 3rd place payout (80% of the pot paid out) . Trophies and prizes awarded. Grand Champion $500.00, Reserve Champion $250.00. Free donuts & coffee for cookers Saturday morning at 9am meeting. Halloween Costume Contest Saturday (free candy for the kids) & prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd. Don't forget about Bacon Fest! Get 3 lbs of wrights bacon cook up a dish with bacon in it for a chance to 50% of the pot in each category.
