Battle of the Bands/ City of Vernon Red River Rhythm

Please register for the Red River Rhythm Battle of the Bands using the form below.  Bands will play between 4 PM - 9 PM on July 3rd.  1st - 3rd Place winners will be selected at 9:15, so all bands must be present.  Please remember this is a family friendly event and we will not allow profanity or inappropriate words on the stage.  If such occurs, microphones will shut off and you will be asked to exit the stage immediately.   Each band will have 30 minutes of playing time and 15 minutes total for set-up and breakdown.  The drums will be back lined, so all you will need to do is plug in and play.  You are welcome to bring your own symbol and snare if you prefer.  We will take the first 5 bands to enter AND pay, so register as soon as possible.  We will randomly draw times for each band to play once 5 bands have entered and paid.  We will notify you of your playing time by June 25th.  1st place will win $1,500, 2nd place prize is $400 and 3rd place is $100.   Registration for the competition is $100 per band.  Please mail payment to the City of Vernon Tourism, 1614 Main Street, Vernon, TX 76384 to the Attn of Amanda Lehman by June 21, 2021 or see below this text to pay online.  You may also register and pay in person at the Vernon Chamber & Visitors Center, 1614 Main Street, Vernon, TX 76384 between 8am-4pm M-F.
